Head Chef

Construction sites across the Russian Federation 3+ years Velesstroy - SMU LLC

Responsibilities:

- Develop menus in line with the established nutrition plan, product range, and the availability/condition of kitchen, refrigeration, and non-mechanical equipment in the canteen

- Supervise food preparation processes and ensure compliance with storage regulations and hygiene standards

- Provide guidance on cooking techniques and other matters related to proper food preparation

- Prepare dish specification sheets (tech cards) indicating per-capita ingredient norms and final portion weights

- Organize cooking operations on a weekly basis by product class, in line with approved dish specification sheets

- Prepare procurement plans and lists of required ingredients; oversee their receipt and storage

- Monitor the correct operation of equipment and other fixed assets used in the kitchen

- Delegate tasks and responsibilities within the kitchen team

- In cooperation with the catering group leads and medical staff, compile the menu and obtain approval from the site manager

Requirements:

- Education: university or secondary vocational (Chef)

- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen processes

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role

- Familiarity with Serbian and Croatian national cuisine

Conditions:

- The work schedule depends on the project

- Transportation, accommodation and three meals a day is at the company's expense
